The Sensory Experience Lounge endeavors to inform and enlighten visitors about the integration of sensory engagement within interior spaces. Through the intertwining and layering of sensory interaction, we maintain that spatial awareness can be more fully realized, and sensorially inclusive spaces can provide a more pleasurable user experience.

Neocon | Emerging Design has engaged the Pratt | Creative Xchange to expand it’s research into multi-sensory experiences and atmospheric qualities, utilizing the body as a sensory receptor to enable an interplay and spatial interpretation through diverse sensory interventions providing a more holistic and inclusive approach to the design process.

Our goal is to propose a re-imagined narrative; providing new creative agency for users. The intention is to investigate the intersection of sound, space, scent, touch and the human experience in the context of workplace, education, healthcare, and other spatial types.

The Creative Xchange emphasizes a holistic and inclusive approach to the design process aiming at proactive versus reactive planning, utilizing interdisciplinary collaboration to develop innovative strategies and solutions aimed at future planning, to anticipate and explore alternative design trends and practices.
